This limited-edition bottling from the Alma del Jaguar “Barricas” series is an Añejo tequila finished in ex-Vino de Naranja (orange-wine) casks from Andalusia, Spain.

• Cask finish: American oak casks previously used for Vino de Naranja (a fortified Spanish orange wine) — imparting citrus zest, vanilla, and gentle oak. 

• ABV: 44% (88 proof).

• Tasting Notes

  Nose: Bright and aromatic candied orange peel, fresh citrus zest (especially orange), honeyed agave sweetness, and warm vanilla with subtle oak spice.
  Palate: Smooth and rich cooked agave, caramelised citrus, baked orange tart, toffee, gentle baking-spice (cinnamon, nutmeg) layered over oak-vanilla.
  Finish: Long and elegant lingering orange zest, soft oak tannins, light warming spice, and a refined agave-driven softness.
