GlenDronach Parliament 21 year old Single Malt Scotch. Perfectly aged for a minimum of 21 years in a blend of ex-Oloroso and ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry casks – this whiskey is brimming with decadency fit for any rule maker (or rule breaker!) The nose is a delicate waft of smoke over freshly squeezed lemon juice, cedar wood shavings, and thinly sliced apples baked on hewn oak planks. Hues of dark dates and walnuts roasted in earthen clay pots soon follow with a splash of brewed espresso. The flavor envelopes the tongue in golden sugar syrup with a cascade of juicy raisins, peaches, and spring cherry blossoms over a tendril of cocoa-spiced oak and honeydew melons in sherry. The GlenDronach Parliament 21 Year finishes with a long swathe of sherry mixed with hints of milk chocolate, black pepper, and sulfur-hazed fruits.
